Quick writing tip. Get Pandora and create a station for what ever you are working on. Pick songs your characters would like and let it play in the background. I find this helps me with word count and also serves as a helpful tool. I also like to pick a sound track for each character. I’m not the kind of person that listens to music on it’s own. I use it as background noise.  This works particularly well on the way to my day job where I am lucky enough to have time to write.
